Love the art, and I appreciate your honesty. I’ve felt overwhelmed with the (internal) pressure to write new substack that are witty and engaging, as well as record my weekly podcast and post yoga videos for my YouTube channel.
Ugh.
It’s too much.
Thank you for giving me permission to just slow down and tackle one thing at a time.
Ironically, I recently pulled out my own copy of The Artists Way. I stare at it every day. I just can’t.
Thank you Deborah! It's comforting to know there are others out there feeling the same way. As you may or may not have seen, I haven't posted anything in awhile because I am feeling the same way about Substack (in addition to trying to do all the other things I want to do). It really IS too much! I often wonder about the women who do pull these things off - are they getting support elsewhere (like a full-time house cleaner/shopper/chef/money)? I often think this is the case, which if I had any of the above support, I would be a rock star by now. 😂
Funny thing about The Artist's Way - I was riveted with it when I went through it this last time, yet as soon as it ended, the fire went out. I think it's my relationship with art: I enjoy doing it when I'm doing it, but I don't/can't deal with it as my one and only. Bleh!
I would love to stay in touch! Feel free to hit me up if you need to vent!
Well documented
Thank you Emilio!
You're welcome always God bless you and your family forever
